Natural Skin Rejuvenation Treatment

by Judy Aulin

No one likes getting older. However, with the right skin care procedures and products, you don't have to look your age. Skin rejuvenation can reverse the effects of premature aging and bring back young looking skin. There are many skin rejuvenation methods that help the skin look younger and feel more refreshed. Facial skin rejuvenation procedures are treatments for age spots, wrinkles, discolorations and texture problems. Yet, some methods of skin rejuvenation are more effective than others. Let's look at the available options and evaluate which give you the best results.

Skin Rejuvenation Procedures

Botulinum Toxin Injections (BOTOX). Botulinum toxin is injected into the muscle responsible for causing the unwanted wrinkle or line. The muscle consequently weakens, temporarily losing the ability to make that wrinkle, while other surrounding muscles in the area function normally. BOTOX procedures only take about 30 minutes, but the patient is required to lay down for 2 to 4 hours following. The side effects include headache, pain, and flu like symptoms. The effects usually show about 10 days following the injection. Three months after the procedure the effects will begin to wear off and another injection will be necessary. Unfortunately, multiple injections could get costly.

Chemical Peels. A chemical solution is applied to dissolve the outermost layer of skin and will reveal a fresh new layer after healing. Peels treat wrinkles, acne scars, crow's feet and uneven skin tone. Chemical peels can be given at different depths. Superficial peels are able to improve the appearance of the skin for a couple weeks, but are not deep enough to remove scars or wrinkles. Deep peels have greater results and longer lasting effects, but are known to be really painful and have long recovery periods.

Laser Skin Resurfacing. Lasers remove skin cells from the affected area and allow new skin cells to grow. Laser resurfacing may be used to treat wrinkles, acne scars, and blemishes caused by aging or sun exposure. Following risks include redness, crusting, swelling or oozing, as well as the loss of some natural skin coloring. Multiple procedures are often necessary to acquire wanted results which can prove to be expensive.

Dermabrasion and Microdermabrasion. Dermabrasion is used to remove signs of premature aging, wrinkles, blemishes from sun damage, and acne scars. The outer layer of skin is 'sanded' down to reveal a smoother, clearer layer after healing. The skin remains pink for a time after the procedure and most people require pain medication. For 3 to 6 months following the procedure, patients should avoid the sun. Microdemabrasion is a weaker form of dermabrasion. Microdermabrasion is done with small sterile particles to scrape away the top layer of skin .The particles and dead skin are then cleaned away with a suction device.

The common garden snail has provided us a biological compound that has been proven exceptionally effective in skin rejuvenation. Scientifically known as Helix Aspersa Muller, this compound works with its enzymes and glycoconjugates to protect and improve the natural elements of collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycans as well as other molecules. These components dissolve damaged cells and use the resulting amino acids to help rebuild healthy new skill cells. This natural skin rejuvenation ingredient hydrates skin, vanishes imperfections, improves brown and sun spots, reduces keloid scars, and repairs damaged tissue. Helix Aspersa Muller has offered an outstanding alternative to natural skin rejuvenation so you don't have to deal with expensive, painful and unnatural procedures.
